Scope of Services:
I, Kelsey Massie of KJM Coaching and Consulting, offer virtual, phone, or in-person coaching sessions to parents, focusing on redefining boundaries at home. During our sessions, we will reflect on parent-child dynamics and relationships, working together to formulate a plan that best supports the family. It is important to note that I do not provide direct therapeutic services, and all family members are expected to be engaged in their own therapeutic work alongside our sessions.
Ideally, with client(s) consent, collaboration with the family's extended support network may occur to provide comprehensive wrap-around services.
Client Responsibilities:
Clients are expected to be prepared to fully engage in reflection and growth work with an open, growth mindset, ready to make changes to their behaviors and family expectations. The commitment period for clients is a minimum of three months.
Notification of cancellations should be provided at least 12 hours in advance. I reserve the right to charge for missed or canceled sessions within this time frame.
Confidentiality:
Client information shared during our sessions is bound by the principles of confidentiality as set forth in the NASW Code of Ethics. I agree not to disclose any information without the client’s written consent. However, as a mandated reporter, I must report abuse, neglect, or intentions of harm to the appropriate authority.
Payment and Billing:
Fees for coaching services are outlined in the billing information provided by Ria. The billing process will be [insert details]. Clients are responsible for any outstanding fees for services rendered prior to termination. I do not accept insurance at this time.
Cancellation and Refund Policy:
Clients must notify me of cancellations at least 12 hours in advance. I reserve the right to charge for scheduled sessions that are missed or canceled within this time frame.
Communication:
Sessions will primarily be held on Zoom or Google Meets. Phone calls and in-person meetings can be scheduled if needed. Clients can expect email responses within 24 hours, and for those in the "on-call crisis package," responses will be within 1-3 hours.
Code of Conduct:
All parties involved are expected to participate in sessions professionally and respectfully, maintaining civil communication, particularly when addressing a co-parent or caregiver.
Duration of Services:
Clients are expected to participate for a minimum of three months, with the option to extend. Either party may terminate this contract with 15 days' written notice. Termination recommendations may be provided with alternatives and referrals.

Either party may terminate this contract with 15 days' written notice. In the event of termination, the client is responsible for payment of any outstanding fees for services rendered.
Intellectual Property:
All documentation created and used within our sessions remains the intellectual property of KJM Coaching and Consulting and should not be reproduced or shared without explicit consent.
Legal Jurisdiction:
This Contract shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the state of Minnesota. Any disputes arising from this Contract shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in the state of Minnesota.
Updates to Terms and Conditions:
Clients will be made aware of updates via addendums sent as PDFs via email.
